Team members and access
Invite your team to an organisation, and choose what each person can do in it.
Everything you build in Digitospace belongs to an organisation: its projects, the products each project uses, and its API keys. Team members in an organisation can work on all of it, as far as their access allows.
Organisations
You start with an organisation called Default, with a first project in it. You can belong to several organisations, and create more.
- Switch organisation: use the organisation button at the bottom of the console’s sidebar.
- Create an organisation: open that button, then select Create organisation. You get full access to it, and a first project.
Access levels
Each team member has one access level in an organisation.

Some rules keep an organisation safe:
- Only someone with Full access can give Full access to someone else.
- The access of someone with Full access can’t be changed, and they can’t leave the organisation.
Invite a team member
Open Members
In the console, check the organisation at the bottom of the sidebar, then open Members.
Send the invitation
Select Invite team member, enter their email address, choose their access, then select Send invitation.
They join
They get an email with a link that works for 7 days. They sign in, or create a Digitospace account, then join the organisation or decline.
Invitations that haven’t been accepted are listed under Invitations on the Members page. To withdraw one, select Cancel.
Change someone’s access
On the Members page, choose a new access level next to their name. The change takes effect straight away.
Remove a team member
On the Members page, select Remove next to their name. They lose access to the organisation’s projects straight away.
Leave an organisation
On the Members page, select Leave at the bottom. Someone has to invite you again for you to come back. If you have full access, you can’t leave.
What people and keys can do
Access levels apply to people signed in to the console. API keys have their own permissions, chosen when the key is created, and can never do more than the person who created them. See API keys.
